Find a Pickup Game anytime, anywhere! pickupicehockey.com is a place to list your pickup hour to attract skaters. There aren't a lot of rules and regulations and no one will ask for money. You simply register and add your game to the list. You will need an email address or phone number for new skaters to contact you with questions. Other than that it's pretty simple, heck even a Canadian can do it.
Click on "Find a Game" to view the game calandar for your State. You can view by day, week, month or year. Click the game you are interested in and view the contact information. Send an email to the game manager to get all the details and then play hockey. After you play you can come back and leave comments for others interested in the same pickup hour.
Join Pickupicehockey.com It's free and easy! Registration is free and secure. We only ask for your name and email. In just a few minutes you can join our community of pickup players. We are new and it will take awhile to grow, but we hope to attract a large group of skaters from all states. There will never be a charge for anything you do on this site and your information will never be shared with anyone.
After registration you can add your pickup hour to the list and you can add comments to pickup hours you have skated. Registration requires just your name and a valid email address. In just a few minutes you can connect with other pickup players throughout the country. We are open to suggestions and as the community grows we will add more options for our registered users.

Remember to add as much detail as possible to cut down on unnecessary calls or emails. Players should know the rink location, time and date, cost per skater and level of play. If you are looking for younger or older players be sure to let them know ahead of time to avoid disappointment. If your hour is competitive let new skaters know as many pickup players are looking for an easy fun skate.

Fill out the comment section and leave your name and email if you want. The administrator will review your comments to keep things clean and post them to the hour you skated.

There are probably more than two kinds of pickup ice hockey, but that’s getting into rocket science and we aren’t brain surgeons. For the first kind, outdoor or “pond” hockey, players usually don’t wear protective equipment. For pickup games in an arena, however, especially if goalies turn up, most players wear full equipment. In some rinks, you don’t have to dress full if you don’t want to, but then, you don’t have to drive on the right side of the road, either. You decide.
